One of the designers who created the original UX and UI concept for Nokia Asha 501 based on learnings from Nokia N9. UX concept changed very little after handover to MP product design teams in Beijing and Oulu who delivered the final Nokia Asha 501 UI design.
Unannounced Product in New Nokia Mobile Phones Product Category
Design lead for unannounced product in new Nokia Mobile Phones product category. Project lasted 1 year, but was cancelled in 2012 re-org when Nokia changed its mobile strategy. Lead design team of 10 people consisting from interaction, visual, motion and sound designers as well as localization and usability specialists. Responsible for overall creative direction and UI design both to the product program and Head of Mobile Phones Design. Agreeing design delivery schedules and allocating design tasks to the designers, reviewing and approving the designs, hands on design when needed. Main interface between design, engineering and product management teams. Identifying novel ideas for patent application creation. Member of Product program leadership team.
